On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, proceed for local sightseeing in Paro. Visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), one of the most beautiful fortresses in Bhutan, followed by Ta Dzong (National Museum), which houses a rich collection of Bhutanese art and historical artifacts. Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan, built in the 7th century. In the evening, explore Paro town and local markets.

After breakfast, proceed for the iconic trek to Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as the Tiger’s Nest. This sacred monastery is perched on a cliff at an altitude of 3,120 meters and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Bhutan. The trek takes around 4–5 hours round trip and offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley. Pony rides are available up to the midway point. In the evening, return to the hotel and relax or enjoy an optional traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath.

After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, visit Tachogang Lhakhang and the famous Iron Bridge built by the great saint Thangtong Gyalpo. On arrival in Thimphu, visit the massive Buddha Dordenma statue overlooking the valley, followed by a visit to the Memorial Chorten, built in memory of Bhutan’s third king. In the evening, enjoy leisure time at Clock Tower Square for shopping and cafés.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit Tashichho Dzong, which houses the King’s office and important government departments. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum to understand traditional Bhutanese life, followed by Changangkha Lhakhang, a 12th-century temple popular for blessings. Later, visit Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal and explore the Craft Bazaar and Handmade Paper Factory for souvenirs.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass. At the pass, enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and visit the 108 memorial chortens. On arrival in Punakha, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers. Later, walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan. Optional visit to Chimi Lhakhang, the famous fertility temple, through a short village walk.

After breakfast, proceed for a scenic long drive to Bumthang via Trongsa. En route, cross Pele La Pass, the gateway to central Bhutan, and visit Trongsa Dzong, the largest fortress in Bhutan and ancestral home of the royal family. Continue your journey to Bumthang, also known as the spiritual heartland of Bhutan, and arrive at Jakar Valley by evening.

After breakfast, explore the sacred Bumthang Valley. Visit Jakar Dzong, also known as the “Castle of the White Bird.” Continue to Kurjey Lhakhang, where Guru Rinpoche meditated, followed by Jambay Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Later, visit Tamshing Monastery, known for its ancient wall paintings, and stroll through Chamkhar Town for local shopping.

After breakfast, drive to Phobjikha Valley, a beautiful glacial valley famous for the endangered Black-Necked Cranes. On arrival, visit Gangtey Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in western Bhutan, and enjoy the serene natural surroundings and village life.

In the morning, enjoy the Gangtey Nature Trail, an easy and scenic walk through forests, wetlands, and villages. Later, drive back to Paro. On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure for shopping or relaxation.
