Depart from Delhi late evening/night (around 8:00–9:00 PM) by private road vehicle. Enjoy a comfortable overnight journey via Chandigarh and Kangra with minimal traffic. Reach Dharamshala early morning (6:00–7:00 AM). On arrival, proceed for early check-in (subject to availability) or freshen up at the hotel. After breakfast and some rest, proceed for a half-day local sightseeing. Visit the War Memorial, enjoy an external view of the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, and explore the Norbulingka Institute showcasing Tibetan art and culture. The afternoon is free for rest or leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing covering McLeod Ganj, the cultural heart of Dharamshala. Visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, Tsuglagkhang Monastery, and Tibetan Museum. Continue to Bhagsunag Temple and Waterfall, enjoying the fresh mountain air. Post lunch, visit St. John in the Wilderness Church, surrounded by deodar forests. Later, enjoy leisure time at McLeod Ganj Market for shopping and cafés. Return to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Post breakfast, depart for an excursion to Palampur, known for its tea gardens and panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range. En route, visit Chamunda Devi Temple, an important spiritual site. On reaching Palampur, enjoy a peaceful walk through the tea estates and local market. Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, drive back to Dharamshala, enjoying scenic valley views. The evening is free for rest or leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey to Delhi. Enjoy scenic mountain roads during the initial part of the drive. Refreshment and lunch breaks will be taken en route. Arrive in Delhi by late evening with pleasant memories of the serene hills and Tibetan culture of Dharamshala. Tour concludes with drop at the designated location in Delhi.
